Violinist and composer Puente learned Cuban music at the feet of Ruben Gonzales and Latin jazz from Chucho Valdez and Arturo Sandoval. He has played with an eclectic mix of performers from Whitney Houston to MC Hammer via Tony Bennett, Afro Cuban Allstars, Kirsty MacColl and Frankie Valentine. Omar Puente, accompanied by outstanding world musicians, explores the music of Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba and Brazil.
