Operasonic bring together pupils from St Michael's RC Primary School, Clytha Primary School, St Woolos Primary School and members of the Maindee community to perform the Newport Legends Operas. ?Framed by a range of Newport stories set to music by composer Errollyn Wallen, they are performed by professional opera singers. Accompanied by an ensemble of players conducted by Helen Woods, this performance is the culmination of 9 months of creative workshops in which our participants have created the operas themselves working with a team of composers and directors.
