A night of original, uplifting live music offset with moments of performance from two inspiring local songwriters. A singer with a ?haunting, swooping, rising voice that did wonderful things to my nerve ends' (Guardian), Kelsey explores all the colours of her voice, singing her way round the coast with her trio and special guest performers. Spacious song landscapes run alongside piano songwriting reminiscent of Carol King, Laura Nyro or Kate Bush as Kelsey's music traverses pop, jazz and folk to find a unique voice. Local pianist and songwriter Lucy Birbeck (Kneehigh, Wildworks) writes poignant, touching and very dark songs with glints of killer humour.
