A shape shifting chameleon of fashion, a multi instrumentalist of the highest order, Prince has had a hand in some the biggest hits of the 20th century, from the irrepressibly funky, 1999 and Little Red Corvette to the much covered When Doves Cry as well composing the original Nothing Compares 2 U for The Family in 1980 before it became a global phenomenon when Sinead O'Connor released it ten years later in 1990.
