Mozart/Bruckner

In a wide-ranging Austro-German programme, Bruckner's 'Wagner' Symphony - dedicated to the man he revered as 'the Master' - is prefaced by a Beethoven-inspired orchestral showpiece by rising young German composer Jörg Widmann and by the third of Mozart's five violin concertos, in which the multi-award-winning young German violinist Arabella Steinbacher makes her eagerly awaited Proms debut.
