Richard Galliano is Europe's most accomplished accordionist, at home with classical music and improvised jazz. He helped create the 'New Musette' in France, based on Argentinian tango and has worked with musicians such as Charles Aznavour and Juliette Greco. Michael Portal is one of the leading jazz saxophonists of his generation, as well as a composer and clarinettist. Together they play their own compositions and a selection of pieces from composers as diverse as Puccini and Piazolla, the tango specialist.
