Robin and Bina Williamson - Clavis Aquili: The Key of the North Wind archiveHarp, fiddle, flute and percussion blend with the evocative voices and melodies of Robin and Bina Williamson in an evening to celebrate the joys of summer. Robin founded the Incredible String Band in the 60s and has been a key figure at the forefront of the storytelling revival in Europe and America since the 80s. Together with East African born British Asian Bina, the evening will be an alchemical mix of Indian Styles, rich Celtic heritage and British folk. The Dock as sea-gate and haven is the setting for this evening's contemplation on time, tide and the restless sea voyage of the soul. The piece draws on scriptural and original texts, together with traditional and bardic material, world roots and free-form music. Robin and Bina are joined by Paul Dunmall (saxophones) and Salah Dawson-Miller (percussion).
