Shadow Game is a new piece by Charlotte Bray, one of Britain's most dynamic living composers, commissioned especially for Doncaster. It gives a fresh take on a centuries-old musical tradition - the ?Sinfonia Concertante', a style much-loved by Mozart and Haydn which allows a group of soloists to combine with an orchestra and dazzle with their collective virtuosity. Charlotte and some of Britain's finest instrumentalists - all members of Ensemble 360 - join forces with musicians from across Doncaster for this world Premiere performance. As well as Shadow Game, a treasure trove of other chamber pieces will lead to an exhilarating evening of music.
