To tie in with our exciting new production of Twelfth Night (see p38) we present a programme specially devised by Conor Mitchell who is composing the music for the play. A vibrantly theatrical composer Conor is fascinated by the wide variety of settings of texts by Shakespeare and this afternoon's programme will include music by Quilter, Warlock, Vaughan Williams, Finzi, Morley and Arne. The programme will conclude with the world premiere of new Shakespeare settings by Conor himself. He is joined by exciting young baritone Philip Smith. This is the perfect curtain raiser to Rachel O'Riordan's first production as Creative Director of Theatre for Horsecross.
