Shelleyan Orphan released three wonderful albums on Rough Trade records between 1987 and 1992. Diverse influences and sounds ebb and flow through their ethereal, poetic, pulsating music. A variety of instruments including strings, woodwind and guitars complement the uncanny purity and power of Caroline Crawley's vocals. On their new album 'We Have Everything We Need', Caroline and Jem Tayle's voices come together beautifully once more, while the strings and woodwinds were recorded with the Hungarian National Radio Orchestra.
