T0 The singer/songwriter reached world-wide success in the 90s with her emotionally charged, iconic single Nothing Compares 2 U, reaching number one in several countries. After receiving numerous award nominations following her chart success, she went on to win the Grammy for Best Alternative Music Performance but chose to boycott the award show.
