T1023223147Souls & Shadows is to be a live musical work that will commemorate the song writing of many patients who have attended the music therapy department at Sobell House Hospice, Oxford. Music is an emotional language and Souls & Shadows will present an experience that demonstrates that great art reveals the person. The production programme will take each writer’s work and express its unique emotional message using both live and pre recorded audio-visual musical and dramatic performance. Simple choreographed scenes from each song will be staged to re-enforce the feeling and narrative of each piece with a recurring musical theme linking the song cycle to convey a universal message of faith in humanity. | |
