T1337568178The Scottish Flute Trio SOUNDSTREAMS Featuring new music by Kenneth Dempster, John Harris and Pippa Murphy In collaboration with the Scottish Arts Council and Youth Music Initiative, Soundstreams is an innovative educational project developed and run by the Scottish Flute Trio to allow young people to develop their composition skills with the assistance of professional composers and musicians. Soundstreams delivers workshops and demonstrations to students to assist them with developing their own pieces. For this performance the Scottish Flute Trio and guests will perform new work by the professional composers who took part in the project - John Harris, Kenneth Dempster and Pippa Murphy - as well as a selection of the best of the student pieces, showcasing some of Scotlands up-and-coming young composers. | |
