Stephen Gutman archiveGutman has been described as one of the most original pianists of his generation. Who else would have the imagination and adventurousness to put the Ligeti Etudes alongside the French baroque pre-impressionism of Rameau. His career took off after winning first prize in the British Contemporary Piano Competition and Brant Competition.
