Widely considered to be one of the greatest cellists of his generation, Steven Isserlis is a virtuoso who is in demand all over the world. He comes to Mold to play a programme which includes several of Bach's Suites for Solo Cello, which he recorded to the highest critical acclaim in 2008, and which was awarded Disc of the Year by Gramophone Magazine and a Classical Brit.
