Max Bruch’s popular Violin Concerto of 1866, with soloist Xiang Gao, separates Mozart’s Symphony No.34 of 1780 and Beethoven’s massive Symphony No.3 of 1804 otherwise known as the Eroica which was originally dedicated to Napoleon.
