From coffee pickers' hands to coffee table, Telling Tales Theatre Group spill the beans. Songs, stories and visual images trace the journey of people alongside trade routes, exposing the realities of their lives as they try to make a living in the global economy. Lluvia de Esperanza, 'rain of hope' is the name of a group of young people from Salvadorian village of Nueva Esperanza. Their music is based on the popular Latin Dance form known as cumbia. They compose their own songs and also perform popular and revolutionary songs from El Salvador and Latin America.
