Born Bernard Jewry, Alvin Stardust started his pop career in the early 60’s with The Fentones. After the group disbanded he worked in music management before returning to performing in the 70s as glam rocker Alvin Stardust with the successful single My Coo-Ca-Choo. He had a number one with Jealous Mind and enjoyed subsequent hits with You, You, You, Red Dress and Good Love Can Never Die. More recently Stardust moved into music theatre; starring in GODSPELL, playing Uriah Heep in DAVID COPPERFIELD – THE MUSCIAL, Billy Butlin in THE BILLY BUTLIN STORY and the Child Catcher in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BAND.
