The Hummingbirds, Cathy Edkins, Jenny Ewington and Jill Luff present 1930s and 1940s nostalgia with close harmony vocals. They perform many standards as a group, or as soloists, featuring all the best songs from the Great American Songbook, with tributes to The Andrew Sisters and The Boswell Sisters. Their warm tones and immaculate timing in syncopated rhythm bring a sprinkling of stardust to the fabulous songs of George Gershwin, Glenn Miller, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and many more. Mike Ewington plays piano, and Ted 'the hat' Simkins is on electric double bass.
