The Band was formed in 1982, they were offered sponsorship by the Ipswich & Norwich Co-operative now known as the East of England Co-operative Society which they gladly accepted . The band is of a very high standard having regular rehearsals with all ages male and female. They play music from marches, Classical, Modern to basically all sorts. They come from the East Anglian region and beyond. They have taken part in all sorts of competitions representing the Region at the National. Brass Bands Final. Professional conductor Mr Ian Johnson has lots of credits to his name including being named ?Young Conductor of the Year' in 1984.
