South African jazz and township joins Latin and funk! The Jazzhearts are a dynamic octet led by the Australian tenor saxophonist Louise Elliott, with a wealth of truly international jazz talent. This jazz explosion features outstanding trombonist Annie Whitehead, the fiery trumpet of South African Claude Deppa, and exuberant Township pianist Mervyn Africa, Afro Blok percussionist Richard Ajileye, plus Steve Lamb (Ronnie Jordan's bass player), Greg Leppard (drums) and Chris Thorn (guitar).
