The Kings of Spain have a distinctive acoustic rock sound, with more than a few songs that wouldn't be out of place in a Van Morrison set. Jo Hamilton first appeared performing solo on the Birmingham scene about eighteen months ago. A student of classical viola, Jo is becoming renowned for her haunting string arrangements and also performs with both an acoustic line up of guitar, double bass, flute and congas and an electric band of drums, electric bass and guitar.
