The Moeran Quartet take their name from the composer Ernest John Moeran (1894-1950). The four members of the quartet are all experienced chamber musicians with a passion for the championing of British music. They lead diverse and varied musical careers playing regularly with orchestras such as the Hanover Band, Urban Soul Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Pauls and Opera Holland Park.
