Driving along a deserted motorway at night, the road gently snaking right and left, bridges creating a slow steady rhythm. You're not concentrating. You're getting tired. You know you should pull in and close your eyes. Did you just fall asleep? Are you still asleep now, as you watch the road gently snake right and left....Video imagery is accompanied by live ensemble music and electronic sound. The film is 'about' perceptions of motion, and the activities of the mind at various emotional depths through the continuous and apparently unchanging experience of motorway driving.
