Production details

Philip Langridge, GSMF’s President, is joined by the prize-winning Heath Quartet in a performance of On Wenlock Edge by Vaughan Williams with Terence Allbright (piano). The Heath Quartet will play quartets by Beethoven, Op.18 No.1 and Mendelssohn, no.6 in F minor, op.80. All of these musicians have appeared in previous GSMFs and their return will be welcomed by all who heard them. The Heath Quartet has recently won first prizes in international competitions in Amsterdam and Vienna. Terence Allbright is an accompanist and chamber music player of wide experience and reputation.
