The Ray Charles Project is a tribute to the music of Ray Charles, put together by Jeremy Sassoon, featuring the finest line-up of the North West's Jazz alumni. The stunning arrangements, many based on the Big Band collaborations between Ray Charles, Count Basie and Quincy Jones are the work of Iain Dixon. The band features horn and woodwind section plus backing vocals, and they all contribute to a soundscape worthy of the great legend himself.
