A short evening of music by young English composer Edward Rushton. Three singers and eight musicians perform song-settings of Aztec, French and Chinese texts and premiere an operatic work in progress The Young Man with the Carnation to a libretto by Tom Smith. The opera is based on a short story by Karen Blixen. There will be an opportunity for audience feedback after the show.
