From Redneck Alabama, the legendary Earl and Frankie jr are soul's founding fathers. If there was a soul hit these cats insist they found it - But they damn sure didn't get a royalty cheque. Women, drink, drugs, fighting amongst themselves...is what the brothers do for recreation. Making sweet music for the ladies is what they do when they're not in the penitentiary. If you want to hear great Soul - too bad most of them cats are dead, you'll have to put up with the Washington Brothers instead.
