The forthcoming 2014 spring tour heralds the release of a new recording by the Tord Gustavsen Ensemble on the prestigious ECM label. Norwegian pianist and composer Gustavsen describes this latest release as ?being the completion of a double circle of trilogies.? the first albums are in the classic trio format of piano-bass-drums, followed later by recordings for extended ensemble and quartet format. This latest recording concludes his second trilogy, and has been created in close creative co-operation with ECM's legendary producer Manfred Eicher.
