Trisha grew up in Monticello in Georgia and the love of music and performing led her to Nashville. When heard on other songwriters' demos, Trisha was signed and released her debut single 'She's In Love With the Boy' in 1990 which hit number one in the US. Trisha followed this by becoming the first female country artist to ever reach platinum status with the release of her debut album. Over her career, Trisha has sold in excess of 13 million albums, earned three Grammy Awards and was even nominated for an Oscar in 1998 with her song 'How Do I Live'.Other listings | |
