National Folk Concert. An exciting evening of music, song and dance from the North with leading performers who span the generations, from 91 year old retired shepherd Will Atkinson who as such a hit at the last True North concert, to the latest young whizz kids of tradition. Special guest artists include Maddy Prior who has been drawn to the region by her love of border ballads, will play alongside Sandra Kerr and her daughter Nancy with James Fagan. The original High Level Ranters will reform especially for this concert which will be a multi-faceted musical celebration of the North.
