Ultimate Bowie! archiveDavid Bowie is widely regarded as one of the most influential innovators over the last five decades, selling around 200 million albums throughout his career. He first caught the public's eye in 1969, with his space-age mini-melodrama Space Oddity, followed in 1972 by the The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Hits such as Starman, Golden Years, Ashes To Ashes, and Heroes followed, with a re-emergence in the mid-80s with the pop sounds of Let's Dance and China Girl. Then in 2013, came his latest re-incarnation, after a decade's silence. Ultimate Bowie pays tribute to the work of this global superstar, in a show that is visually stunning and vocally impressive. Ed Blaney takes the spotlight and leads an 8-piece band that takes us from Bowie's early years right up to the 21st century. The band isn't called Ultimate Bowie for nothing - they capture the real essence and authenticity of David Bowie in concert!
