Details

Composed at the age of 33, Brahms selected texts from the Lutheran Bible and focused on comforting those who mourn rather than on the souls of the dead of the traditional Latin liturgy. In this concert, University Choir performs the version with piano four-hands accompaniment and with student soloists.
