UpRising is a contemporary song cycle written for Walcot Community Choir by Kirsty Martin. It explores the natural voice in song, prose and poetry, and takes us through folk, rock, reggae, blues and jazz vibes. Songs are woven around the theme of regeneration - personal, political and natural.
