Brazilian born, New York based Vinicius Cantuaria’s music is Latin Jazz at its finest, and at its most adventurous. Having cut his teeth playing for ten years in Tropicalia legend Caetano Veloso’s band, Cantuaria’s career has taken in collaborations with Laurie Anderson, David Byrne, and Brian Eno among others. Portuguese musician and composer Rodrigo Leao effortlessly combines a Latin feel with sumptuous orchestral arrangements. He has worked with artists as wide-ranging as The Divine Comedy’s Neil Hannon, Beth Gibbons of Portishead, and Ryuchi Sakamoto.
