One of the biggest names in world music and certainly the biggest ever to come out of Africa, Youssou N'Dour has performed with Neneh Cherry, Peter Gabriel, Bruce Springsteen and Sting. Perhaps best known for top-ten hit Seven Seconds with Neneh Cherry and for 1988's acclaimed Human Rights Now! tour, Youssou N'Dour's work encompasses ballads, jazzy grooves, intricate dance rhythms, wise words and infectious melodies.
