2:1 uses real stories to depict the journey of Alex and Alex as they embark into the battlefield known as the arts industry. Through merging dance and theatre 2:1 is a tale of power, choice, representation, gender and the gaze. This is a collaboration between choreographer Rachael Nanyonjo (artistic director of Kansaze Dance) and Writer Emma Dennis-Edwards and was developed with the help from the London Hub's Pitch It bursary.
