The Akhtamar Armenian Performance Group was launched in September 2002 by a group of dance enthusiasts to bring Armenian dance, song, music and poetry to the wider community. The group combines traditional Armenian dance and music with modern elements, celebrating and giving new expression to the art form that is as old as humanity itself.
