Sighted is their new installation for solo performer, Stine Nilsen (current co-artistic director and former dancer of Candoco Dance Co), which will be running at regular intervals for up to twelve viewers at a time. Surrounded by an expansive carpet of mirrors, Stine, with eyes closed, performs a fabric of delicate gestures. Sighted is concerned with our capacity to see and the urge to be looked at. It explores the fundamental need to find recognition and the distinctions between public and private experience.
