Ballet Cymru (formerly Independent Ballet Wales) are a young, vital group of dancers who are pushing back the barriers of classical ballet. Using powerful and timeless stories the company challenges its dancers to interpret some of the finest characters in literature. Showcasing 3 pieces of dynamic dance, Made in Wales comprises of the very best of emerging dance talent in Wales today. With live music from Ver Sacrum Ensemble featuring graduates and students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, as well as a new choreographic commission by choreographer Krystal Lowe, accompanying pieces by Ballet Cymru Artistic Directors, Darius James OBE and Amy Doughty, Made in Wales promises to be an exciting evening of dance you will not want to miss.
