Topiary Dance Company was founded in 1998 by Catherine Cassidy, who studied was born and brought up in Perth. Sexy Body is based on the theme of body image and was created through a consultation process with twenty young adults, whose thoughts, lives and experiences have impacted greatly on the creative process. The show itself explores and combines the sometimes hilarious, sometimes horrendous views and experiences that people have of their bodies.
