This year's show will open with a lively Gopak to the music of Khachaturian performed by senior students and this will be followed by dances performed by pupils aged 4 years and upwards. Junior and senior pupils will then join forces to present an adaptation of Tchaikovsky's 'Nutcracker' ballet featuring the battle between the soldiers and the mice, the beautiful 'Waltz of the Snowflakes' and the variety of characters that appear in the 'Kingdom of Sweets' . The performance will end with the traditional grand classical finale performed by senior students. To close the evening children and adults will be presented with certificates, medals and awards of the N.A.T.D. gained throughout the year.
