Claire Missingham/Urban Babe: Urban Memoirs

Choreographed by Claire Missingham, this new work was originally commissioned by and premiered at the ICA in September 2001. Claire is joined by collaborators Nicola Pierce (Digital Video and Projection VJ mixing), Earl Zinger (Text / MC) with music commissioned from DJ Bizznizz and Dobie. Urban Memoirs brings together a mixed company of ten dancers from both the commercial and contemporary sectors and fuses shaolin kung fu, capoeira, contact, street locking and breakdance.
