Contemporary dance showcase Cloud Dance Festival lets down its hair once again for Cloud Dance Friends: a show which is part celebration of contemporary dance, part birthday bash, and generally a good excuse to put on a show. Cloud Dance Friends will be presenting a mixed bill celebrating some of the most highly-praised contemporary dance work of the past year and new work by friends of Cloud Dance Festival - so please join us for an evening of very good work by independent dance artists at our favourite venue in London. We'll be offering you a taster of award-winning choreographer John Ross's latest work, a brand new solo by former Rambert dancer Estela Merlos, and we've invited Yukiko Masui and Cardiff-based Mike Williams to perform their critically-acclaimed solos. Jason Mabana, a dancer with Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company, will be presenting his duet with Jacob O'Connell which was premiered on national TV in March as part of the BBC Young Dancer competition. And if that wasn't enough, Anna-Lise Marie Dance will be presenting their eagerly-anticipated newest work, while Elise Nuding will be performing a solo in her very individual and intriguing style - and Humanah Productions will round off the evening with their own onstage celebration.
