In the Absence - Philipp Gehmacher presents his second solo made with and for his own body. Sometimes his stable, civil body give access to his material body and that is what the work is about. Somehow out of sight, the material body is manifested by constant absence. The performance addresses the body as an object, but is in fact it's subject. It is the software within and around this hardware that creates the confusion.
Factor 20 - Factor 20 is a humourous exploration of why we go on holiday abroad and what we expect to find, and what we really find when we get there. We dream of wandering along secluded sun-drenched beaches that stretch for miles, languid hours spent in a hammock strung between swaying palms, staring longingly into beautiful eyes over a banquet of exquisite, exotic cuisine..however the reality can be very, very different.
