Showcases Emerging Dance Talent from across Europe - T1848551901

A development from the original festival held at Southbank Centre in September 2008, DancEUnion is a project created in partnership with the EU Commission in London and European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) partners (a group made up of all European member states). With 21 choreographers from 21 countries across Europe invited to present work, this event brings together talented, emerging artists, who are already showing great potential. Work is presented across the site in three evenings of mixed bills and is preceded by a four-day residency for the choreographers. Led by the acclaimed experimental UK choreographer Jonathan Burrows, the residency gives the emerging artists the opportunity of being mentored by a senior choreographer, sharing practice and engaging with each other.
