De Montford University has a long history of working with professional artists to create and tour exciting dance work within the region. Original choreography and stunning live performance combine in this spectacular celebration of dance. De Montfort University is home to some of the most innovative dance practice in the country. The annual University Dance Festival showcases the best of the best student work produced over the course of the year and makes new dance available to a wider audience in the form of fresh, exuberant and challenging performances. This year's programme includes two new works made specifically for the Festival by internationally renowned choreographers Pete Shenton and Sally Doughty.
