Details
Wales's leading dance company. Exposure is a new triple bill for Diversions, the Dance Company of Wales, with music at its heart. Mozart combines with the dancers’ carefree movement in Up Close and Personal. Draped in couture costumes, the dancers are cast under the spotlight of intimate photographic portraits by choreographer and photographer Roy Campbell-Moore. Showcased at Dance Umbrella and first performed by Diversions in 1984, Tony Thatcher’s Ronsaria offers an insight into Diversions’ cutting-edge roots. In an upbeat trio, music and dance lead independent lives, as a score by Donizetti is contrasted with live radio mixes. Itzik Galili’s visually spectacular Peeled radiates technical expertise, combining fiercely energetic movement with remarkable use of lighting and charged modern percussion
