Shields of Bone - Shields of Bone explores the boundaries between people and challenges our ability to see beneath the surface. The work considers the undeniable truth that lies underneath superficial perception. Performed to a selection of music by Meredith Monk, the work investigates human contact and touch in both sensual and brutal ways. Choreography by Eleesha Drennan. These exceptional performances will be accompanied by works inspired by art and museum exhibitions across the North East, along with the debut work NOW; a dance of energy, youth and dynamism.
