In collaboration with the Gulbenkian's Dance Season, University Music presents Four-by-Four. This spectacular group performs Bhangra, a traditional folk dance form which originates from the Punjab in the North of India. The dancers are accompanied by drumming on the dhol a two-headed barrel shaped wooden drum, and by the singing of the boliyaan, the traditional folk songs of the Punjab. Admission free with a 'give what you can' collection after the performance.
